we made good times
I wonder if they know how much I care and do not care?
To be part, to be accepted, to be a friend.
Does it matter?
Being with them, listening to the same, the old and the new. Adding, subtracting, summing-up. I am there to be seen and to be heard.
Do they care?
I do not know; honestly, I honestly do not know why they seem to care, but do not.
A fifth when there should only be four. The exception, the accommodation, the charity, the tolerated.
Smiles, hugs, cheers and thanks; letting me be part of it, but not.
Friendship, humour, true caring, offer something; but the dismissive is subtle, present, unintended and intended.
Do they know?
The Greek, the poor Greek, let’s invite; should be amusing for a bit…then keep quiet.
We are at the cottage, we made good time, now help me then stay out of the way.
Do I matter?
